Recently I've been bumping a lot more hip hop and rap then my normal electro/dub tunes. I've really just gotten a headache the past few days listening to new "electronic" tracks that keep popping up on my soundcloud. I put electronic in quotes because I don't really consider trap music electronic at all; besides some really well produced stuff I pretty much hate trap. Here's an exception. Flosstradamus is a raw duo, and this track "Where That Dank?" is perfectly produced by Floss's homie Zoolydamus. I got the chance to see Flosstradamus at Snowball Music Festival a couple of months [...]

Following his departure from long-time mentor and boss, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame lets go of some interesting info. Waka has been working with Skirllex, Diplo, and trap duo Flosstradamus on some new electronically driven music. Having dabbled with edm in the past, Waka is looking to get a stronger hold on the genre and its fans. Waka spoke to HipHopDX about the new sound he's working on: "Punk Rap, that’s EDM. People didn’t understand what I was saying, now they do. I see a lot of my students, I’m like the [...]

It was always going to happen though right? The current fusion of Dance Music and Hip-Hop has been spreading like butter on toast as of late, and after the huge success of the collaboration between ASAP Rocky and Skrillex , who wouldn't wanna' partake! A recent Hip Hop DX interview with Waka Flocka Flame revealed that the Brooklyn based rapper has an "EDM album" in the works with the likes of "Flosstradamus, Diplo, Skrillex and some underground people" all featuring throughout what will hopefully be an impressive new [...]

I've been a fan of Flosstradamus since back in the electro days when they were putting out some of Fool's Gold Records ' first releases. Since then the duo has grown significantly and most notably been at the forefront of the ever growing Trap trend of today. Nomads is a collaborative EP with the likes of DJ Sliink and includes three tracks: Crowd CTRL, Test Me, and UZ 's remix of Test Me. All three tracks are trap fire and are definitely sick... who knows, maybe trap won't be gone as fast as we think.

Prior to Flosstradamus' Friday night performance, the duo sent out 92 powerful characters across the Twitterverse: "BAHAHA S/O THE # VERYcool ASS DJS OUT THERE PREACHING ABOUT HOW 'TRAP IS DEAD.' LOL GTFO BRUH". Following the duo's cramped Ultra Music Festival sets, at which even AVICII managed to drop a little trap during his Mainstage appearance, there is little doubt the genre is surging. But as Flosstradamus's appearance at Cleveland attests, trap is experiencing some growing pains as its hi-hat rolls and snare drum syncopation push further into posh nightclubs. [...]
![A-Trak w/ GTA + Lil Texas and Arnold @ Celebrities [Show Review]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4876840_lg.jpg)
Alright. I'm now firmly aware of the damage that Celebrities Nightclub can have on my eardrums. Those Funktion-One's are not to be underestimated, especially with the legendary canadian DJ icon A-Trak on the decks! GTA and M.O.D. Crew members Lil Texas and Arnold accompanied A-Trak in his Vancouver stop on his April Fools tour. This was my first time seeing any of these DJ's spin, so I was extremely interested in the track selection and vibes they created with each of their masterful mixing skills. GTA [...]

Un trois titres sur lequel on retrouve deux originaux Crowd Ctrl et Test Me , ainsi qu'un remix bonus du second signé par le mystérieux producteur roi de la trap music UZ . Disponible dès maintenant sur Beatport et iTunes !
Flosstradamus (pictured) has been ripping it up all over the globe on their current tour , perhaps most notably at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. They're no doubt the tip of the spear for hard trap music, and they've just released a new EP with their pal DJ Sliink called Nomads on Fool's Gold to further cement their place in the trap industry. Opening track CROWD CTRL goes hard in the paint, featuring sound clips from the movie The Warriors [...]

We keep it going at Tilt and give you our roundup of music. Make sure to get these tracks and add them to your circulation. Treasure Fingers always brings the good vibes and as warm weather is in the air, we can expect more house vibes from Treasure Fingers. Bro Safari and Sazon Booya team up for this Moombah banger. So intense and filled with tons of energyy. We are taken on a different direction with this Heartbreak remix of Tokimonsta. Very smooth, soulful, and mellow percussions. Regulators [...]
As fireworks reflected off the snow covered grounds of Winter Park, as insane light shows reflected off the neighboring mountains, as music goers covered from head-to-toe in snow gear jumped up and down continuously as incredible artist after artist took to the stages, Snowball 2013 can rate itself up there as one of Colorado’s best winter time festivals. The layout was set up perfect with one main stage and two tents, each far enough away from one another that you could hear each artist clearly but close enough you could dance your way from set to set without [...]
