Amsterdam's synth act, Kraver, claims on their Facebook profile that even my parents will like their music. I can't really imagine my parents getting into "Jodie's Belief", but I'm loving this track and that's all that really matters around here. Kraver has the synth pop, nudisco sound down to perfection. This energetic track has me completely jamming at the moment, and it's 3:30am as I write this. I first heard Cris Cab on ' One Thing ,' a collaboration of his with Pharrell Williams. I don't know how Cab pulls off this reggae pop so well, but even my soulful ways can get into the pop slop for kids like Cris. In his cover of Foster the People's infamous 'Pumped Up Kicks,' Cab twists it well with that feel good jam style of his. If anything, it's a pretty damn good reggae cover for a white boy from Miami. Yeah Prince can be kind of a dick , but he's very serious about no photos during his show, to which I can attest . Mark Foster of Foster the People got the brunt of that restriction last night at The Sayers Club in Los Angeles, where he was briefly kicked out of the show for reportedly using his cell phone.
