In celebration of the reissue of his third album Rounds , super-producer Kieren Hebden (a.k.a. Four Tet ) has dug into his personal archives and shared the original version of the album track "Unspoken", which samples Tori Amos’ "Winter" . "The first track I made for the album... this version (is) about 12 years old," Hebden tweeted . "We tried get the Tori thing cleared for the reissue but still didn't work out." Today marks the release of Four Tet 's Rounds reissue. To celebrate, Kieran Hebden has unveiled a promotional version of "Unspoken". Do you notice a difference between the album version? Well, if you did, you are right. Because this version contains a sample that Four Tet couldn't clear before the release of the album. Ten years later, though, and we are blessed with audio that never made the full-length. In fact, Kieran notes that they couldn't even clear it for the reissue. Go figure.
