Alright, so last year Four Year Strong made the #2 spot on my best of 2010 so i'll be the first to admit expectations are a little high here. I'm actually dreading taking a full listen to the stream the guys have thrown up as none of the new songs have impressed me much. Here's Four Year Strongs new video for "Stuck In The Middle" . The band pull off the whole tour/studio montage thing pretty well. I especially dig the "LeBron is a Bitch" shirt their drummer is sportin. In Some Way, Shape, Or Form drops November 7th.
Alright, so out of the three tracks Four Year Strong have put out in anticipation of their new album, this is easily the weakest. It's already apparent this'll probably be the most divisive record they've put out in their career, which is really no surprise given the events that led up to it's release...Regardless, it still ranks very high on my most anticipated releases for the rest of the year. Well it looks like we can stop calling Four Year Strong pop-punk now. The band just dropped a stream of "Falling On You" , which, along with "Stuck In The Middle" showcases their transition into full-blown face melting riff-rock. Four Year Strong dropped the news today of their highly anticipated new full-length. In Some Way, Shape or Form will be out October 11th. After last year's breakout release Enemy Of The World my hopes are sky high for this one. Four Year Strong performed this new track "Falling On You" at a hometown Boston show. The video quality leaves something to be desired, but I'm beyond ecstatic to hear what these guys got in store for us on the next full-length. Sounds promising.

Hardcore punks may seem like a dieing breed sometimes, but the upcoming tour with Rise Against , Bad Religion , and Four Year Strong just may suggest that the genre isn't dead yet.
