The totally batshit crazy project from actor James Franco and performance artist Kalup Linzy are readying their debut release for DJ /rupture's label Dutty Antz. Due July 12th, the Turn it Up EP should be a pretty interesting listen if "Rising" is any indication. Produced by DJ /rupture, the track is bizarrely catchy in its own cheesy way, and the visual accompaniments are equally puzzling, a combination of found-footage style cinema and ghostly James Franco heads. Yeah, it's worth checking out.
