French based house duo Alan Braxe & Fred Falke brought a sense of relaxed euphoria with their 2000 club hit "Intro". Sampling "Crush On You" by The Jets, the funk bass line that underpins the whole track has an infectious groove and the vocal is one that always brings a big smile to the face. Feels like summer already!

Ethereal - extremely delicate and light in a way that seems too perfect for this world. Press play on Ryan Radlers latest mix tape and that's exactly how the music will make you feel, immediately. The effect is no coincidence and if you're hip to the anti-summer/anti-winter concepts then you know that's what these tapes are all about... At the end of the day I think the mixes are really about how to navigate each season. Personally, winter has been killing me and this mix is literally some catharsis to cope with the stuff that comes. Cold, depression, [...]

El dúo parisino de Venice Beach continúa realizando remixes que distribuye de manera gratuita, como estos 2 últimos, para el temazo de The KDMS de Tonight y para el tema de Fred Falke de 808 PM At The Beach. The KDMS - Tonight (Venice Beach Remix) by Venice Beach Fred Falke 808 PM At The Beach (Venice Beach Remix) by Venice Beach

Another shout for our friends Venice Beach . These guys are completely workaholic! This time they remixed Fred Falken's "808 PM At The Beach". I went to check the original and this version they did, sounds very "modern" to me. This is really smooth and full of Summer mood. I'm enjoying these kids, because they have been throwing a lot of good dj material, which i will use on my dj set...s.... Fred Falke - 808 PM At The Beach (Venice Beach Remix) [download here ] [...]

Nero blew up last year which was pretty cool it culminated over the summer with them performing a dubstep Orchestra with the BBC Philharmonic! Pretty crazy right? Today we get a reworking of one of the duos tracks from Fred Falke and it's pretty darn tasty. Taking "Reaching Out" and adding some more synth and dance aesthetics it turns into a more easily accessible track. Peep it below via Hypetrak .

... of funk for your ass! We come correct with a selection of funky house tracks that aren't just dirty, they're straight filthy. The Leicester, UK-based duo Just Kiddin' are a highlight with their collection of highly original tracks. Reminiscent of the electro-funk legends Zapp with a slice of 902s era house piano builds, their unique selections make them a force to be reckoned with. Italian maestro His Majesty Andre serves up a slice of pure disco heaven with a new re-edit of his classic remix of [...]
Thursday's come and go. Time stretches and blurs until what seems like a normal weekday transitions seamlessly into the weekend like an afterthought. The excitement of looming days of rest and relaxation and the time commitment that entails is not lost on us nor should it be lost on you. With that we get Three Words or Less. Nero's single "Reaching Out", which features a Hall & Oates's sample "Out of Touch was release as single in December but yesterday, famous French producer Fred Falke released a much lighter, dance floor...
The vocal cuts and samples on Nero tracks are the best in the business. Take for instance "Guilt," or "Innocence," or "Promises" - they all feature catchy, sing-along choruses accompanied by Nero's melodic wobbles - it's a remixer's dream. Enter Fred Falke who, leaving the original samples from Kano's "Another Life" and "Out of Touch" by Hall and Oates intact, charmingly replaces "Reaching Out's" heavier sawtooth synth and dubstep kicks for a softer, French house feel. This is baby-making music. Via: Soundcloud (Fred Falke)
Fred has taken this dub single from Nero's "Welcome Reality", and made it more suitable for a french house/big room setting. Nero - "Reaching Out" (Fred Falke Remix)

Fred Falke has taken a shot at remixing Nero's dubstep mash-up between Kano's "Another Life" and Hall & Oates' "Out of Touch". A synthy French house version of Kano sounds familiar? Nero - Reaching Out(Fred Falke remix) by Fred Falke

Happy Friday everyone. I have to say I'm pretty excited for my first weekend back in Montreal since I left for my final winter break ever (sadface..) For those of you who are heading back to school in the next few days or are stuck traveling when you would rather be out partying, here are some tracks to get you through until you reach your final destination. Today for my first Mixtape Friday of 2012 I have tunes from Angger Dimas, LAZRtag, Bart B More & TAI and others, as well as a great new mixtape from an EDM legend. [...]
New Music | Fred Falke Sometimes you hear middle 8's in house music and you just know what's going to happen. Cut the treble, cut the middle, slowly bring them back in, beat mash then break. Job done. But I love how Aurora breaks the mould, the Baywatch drums come from nowhere after a 1 minute hiatus. It's only taken him about 8 million years to put together but Part IV has been well worth the wait. Check it out. And did you know that Fred actually beat Nero to it in [...]

I haven't heard anything from PNAU since their Empire of The Sun side project's amazing 2008 release of Walking on a Dream , but it seems that they're back with a new album and new remixes for their " Unite Us " single. With Kris Menace going for the epic, feel-good synth style that was huge in '07-'08 (the good ol' days) and Wookie taking care of things on the Garage front, these interpretations go in completely different directions and, in turn, cover several bases. Since we're on the [...]

This list was an extremely easy one to do, however, like any lists, I'm sure I've left off more than I care to remember. All I had to do is go to iTunes and click on the songs I played most in 2011. POW! If it were only that easy. Here's a small sampling of my favorite songs of 2011 and I wish the rest of that M83 albums was like "Midnight City." Sigh. German-born France-based house producer Fred Falke is probably one of the best known producers amongst regular clubgoers and mainstream radio listeners. Over the past few years, he has churned out anthemic synth-laden remixes for the likes of Little Boots , Likke Li , Metronomy , Burns , Hot Chip , Florrie or Pnau , always demonstrating a particular ability to balance the energy of dance music with a strong pop sensibility.
