On February 27th, 2011, All Tomorrow's Parties will launch their latest music festival, I'll Be Your Mirror , at Studio Coast in Tokyo, Japan. As announced today, the recently reunited post-rock legends Godspeed You! Black Emperor will headline, with acts like Boredoms, Fuck Buttons, Boris, Envy, Autolux, Melt Banana, and Keiji Haino filling out the rest of the bill. I'm actually quite liking this genre of lo-fi electronic spasms. The Fuck Buttons namedrop has gotta happen somehow, ( Holy Fuck ? D/R/U/G/S ?) usually much later, but I cannot be arsed with foreplay at the minute. Hounds of Hate is basically an attempt to "recreate exact sounds and recording techniques" of the early 90s, the generation of 1.4mb floppy disks, Fallout1, Fresh Prince, and bad rave.
