Over a cup of coffee with the GABRIELLA CILMI got us talking about her forthcoming album number three, SWEETER IN HISTORY, working with Tricky (and wot happened during his Glastonbury performance with Beyonce), parting was with Island Records, music industry, plus more.

Yesterday, we were at some business hotel and we were switching through channels and stumbled upon Gabriella's Cilmi's first single "Sweet About Me," the track that catapulted her to fame and shifted copies of Lessons To Be Learned . It’s been quite some time since we last heard from sultry-voiced Aussie siren Gabriella Cilmi , but she’s back with a serious sound and look for 2013. Title aside, her new track ‘Sweeter’ is nothing like her breakthrough hit ‘Sweet Like Me’, but fans of dramatic soul à la Rebecca Ferguson might be interested in this. ' Sweeter ' is taken from Gabriella’s forthcoming third album, which is reportedly close to completion. Let’s hope it is, anyway – it’s been in the pipeline since 2010. Gabriella Cilmi is trying every genre known to earth to make and all she needs to know is that her Aussie pizzaz is all she needs to get her where she wants to get. A new album that concentrates on vocals and less of overproduction in the studio would do wonders. Not sure where this track is from but the investigation shall ensue.
