The new punk-rock trio Gastón has released its five-song, self-titled, debut EP. It's available for "name your price" via Bandcamp . The band takes its name from a character in the Disney film Beauty And The Beast , and features vocalist/guitarist Michael Hoffman, drummer Jarret Nathan, and bassist Alejandro Tancredi. Musically, the songs follow the traditional patterns of punk rock: fast and powerful drumming, some power chord blasts, quick-stop time changes, and the fairly predictable teen (or 20-something) angst singing.
