"I can't tell that people flirt with me, because I'm miserable," he coolly intones, against a heady backdrop of sax-fueled angst. So tragedy glam. The purple-hued video itself is an ode to blasé chic, from O'Connor's mirrored browline glasses to a scene where he takes pills featuring his own likeness (meta!) on the bottle before finally OD'ing.
