One of my worst dreams I feared is coming close to fruition. The Denver sports scene is in jeopardy of becoming the new Cleveland. Melo is on his way out and there's nothing stopping him. The only upside to his departure is the promise of new talent that might hustle and play some defense. With even the NME growing weary of Florence & The Machine's pastiche hippy schtick, rejuvenation is entirely necessary. And whilst Yeasayer's Dog Days Are Over rework added some Greenwich Village kudos to Welch's commercial, cack-handed, practically archaic single it's Michigan man Gilbere Forté that adds an über-produced sheen to proceedings in a bizarrely coherent recording. Gilbere Forte has taken the Yeasayer remix of the "Dog Days Are Over" track originally done by Florence and the Machine and created a masterpiece. I stumbled across this track over at P&P this morning and this guy Gilbere Forte' has done this track justice by sprinkling his own verses over this Yeasayer Remix of "Dog Days Are Over". We heard him once before as the guy that joined Kanye on the remix of the the Stromae club record "Alors On Danse" .
