With a new drummer in tow ( Jonna Löfgren , who is, in fairness, a shit-load more capable than Caroline McKay ), Glasvegas are back, two-and-a-half years on from their debut (which is still holding up very well indeed). The huge sound is there, the hooks, James Allan 's passionate vocals, great lyrics. It doesn't deviate much from many of the songs on their first album, sure, but it's still rather good as comeback singles go, and, along with 'The World Is Yours' , bodes well for their return. En endagsfestival som Luger "råkat" boka in på en av de dagar Peace & Love i Borlänge äger rum - 28 juni. Man utannonserade det hela med Coldplay som första bokning och i dag meddelar man, i brist på fantasi, att Glasvegas kommer. It's strange because I was browsing through my obese itunes collection and happened upon Glasvegas and remembered how much I loved their last album when it was released. So I decided to see if they had plans to record/release something soon and to my amazement they had just announced this, three hours ago. Also a new song from the album, EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\. Upon first listen, I wouldn't say its as strong as their earlier work but definitely worth a listen.
