I've been waiting for awhile to hear some sort of reggae/hip-hop cross composition with Gonjasufi being the first I've heard so far this year to do so. Blaksuit was my favorite off his album, but I gotta say it's a great listen as a whole. It's all fuzzed and droned out still keeping with the reggae-like tone. You can stream the album here . If you just heard the vocals to this, you might expect something organic and simple, but Gonjasufi is not a simple character. "Nickels and Dimes, off his latest project, MU.ZZ.LE , sounds like it's about to crumble. The vocals can barely keep up with the drums, which keep falling apart on themselves, and some background support comes and goes at it pleases, seemingly off in it's own, disconnected world.
