Brighton based band Goodluck Jonathan recently released a reworked version of their current single "The Future's Got No Love For Us" which features London rapper Bradyz. The track is a more restrained version than the original, but has lost none of the bite of the poignant social commentary of Nick Brookes' lyrics. Whilst in the studio the band filmed the recording session as a live performance. The band will release their second album in 2012 on Something Nothing Records.

Bands' debut albums are more often than not 'a collection of songs put on a record' rather than a fully cohesive listen. The first full-length from Goodluck Jonathan is exactly that: 'This Is Our Way Out' is in fact three EPs (similarly named) collected as-is. This flippant approach to sequencing would suggest that the album is all over the place. Not even close.
