The mailbox is still a mess, so my plan today was to bring out the broom and start sweeping. But my back is killing me and I've spent the first 30 minutes at work lying on the floor (far less painful than walking, standing or even sitting in a chair). So I guess the only right thing to do is to get some work done and then head home. Or simply wait for the damn painkillers to start working!

Well, it's been a long time coming. Jakarta's most "prestige" indie label, Aksara Records officially shut down their business yesterday (18/09). The news itself wasn't unpredicted regarding rumors about bankruptcy and hiring Aldo Sianturi (previously, THAT guy who made lame but hot selling compilation universal CDs) earlier this year. 4. Teil meines Asien-Specials - diesmal habe ich mir eine Synthiepop-Band herausgesucht, die sich in ihrem Sound massiv an die 80er anlehnt und dabei u.a. auch auf die Pet Shop Boys bezieht, also extrem poppig daher kommt. Goodnight Electric nennt sich das Trio, das diesmal aus Jakarta in Indonesien stammt und zwei Alben sowie diverse Compilation-Beiträge veröffentlicht hat, die wohl wiederum schwer außerhalb des asiatischen Raums zu bekommen sein werden.
