The fucking hilarious thing is when people think of EDM as something different than house or techno? Europavox , the aunnual music festival and industry convention held in the French city of Clermont-Ferrand, has revealed the first acts to be confirmed for this year's event. A couple weeks back, I attended the Undergraduate Composers Collective 3rd Annual Winter Concert here at Princeton. I will never cease to be impressed by the talents my peers have - I can't imagine having the compositional skills some of these students have, never mind having the time to compose while juggling schoolwork. While several of the composers had very impressive pieces - Rhodes scholar DiBerardino's Sasco Creek was simultaneously mind-melding and face melting - the piece that stuck with me was the concert's first.
