Graveyard owe a considerable nod to the ghosts of Classic Rock's past but as with many of their Swedish brethren, they've found a way to not only replicate the furiously muscular throb of the 70's blues explosion but to also impart it with the scattered ashes of folk and pscyhedelia that made the best examples of this period iconic. Steppin' out of the woods of Gothenburg, Sweden and right into your head is Graveyard . The quartet features Rikard Edlund (bass), Axel Sjöberg (Drums), Joakim Nilsson (Guitar/Vocals), and Jonathan Ramm (Guitar/Vocals). When recording of the album was complete ex-member Truls Mörck quit and was replaced immediately by Ramm. Do you want to hear something brutal? Check out the second verse of Graveyard's "Evil Ways" where guitarist/vocalist Joakin Nilsson sings of selling his soul for a pack of smokes. Note, he didn't sell his soul for a hit single, money, or fame, just a pack of smokes. He didn't even specify what kind of smokes he wanted from the devil.
