Source I am sure that everybody heard about the Green Day's problems, and how Billie crashed his guitar at iHeartRadio Music Festival, and everybody thought that his act was very punk-rock, but he was actually having some drug issues; and the fact that they canceled their concerts, etc, etc. Well, great news everybody: Green Day is back on stage starting 28th March 2013, (they actually rescheduled their canceled tour ).In a recent statement, the band's frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong , declares: [...]
If you think that's outrageous, he wants to mix that style with that of Belle & Sebastian.

As mentioned , Green Day cancelled a bunch of tour dates due to Billie Joe Armstrong going to rehab, including their Brooklyn show which would have happened on January 16 at Barclays Center with Best Coast . The band have now rescheduled those dates to take place later this year, and they're currently set to play Barclays Center on April 7 . It's not clear if Best Coast is still on the tour. Tickets for the newly scheduled Barclays Center show are on sale now and all tickets purchased for [...]

In honor of John Lennon, who was killed 32 years ago this Tuesday, Fusion 45 celebrates John Lennon Week . Here's the first of five articles focused on his five best songs . "Working Class Hero" Like Bob Dylan's "Masters of War," Lennon's "Working Class Hero" is loosely based on an Old English Folk Song, "Nottamun Town." As Lennon told Jan Wenner in a December 1970 Rolling Stone interview, the song is about the working class being integrated into the middle class [...]
Judd Apatow's latest, This is 40 , isn't getting the best reviews (51% on Rotten Tomatoes ), nor the best ... Read the full article at http://www.prefixmag.com/news/ watch-eels-and-green-days-bill ie-armstrong-in-dele/72622/

I haven't seen Judd Apatow's new film, This Is 40 , so I can't really comment on its flaws or virtues, but I will say that I'm impressed by the film's deep connection to music. That's essential to the plot, of course, as star Paul Rudd plays an independent label honcho, but Apatow doesn't skimp on the real-life talent giving his fictional world some verisimilitude. The soundtrack includes utter gems from Ryan Adams and Fiona Apple , among others, and Rudd is joined onscreen by a handful of musicians playing themselves, including Graham Parker and Bille [...]

Judd Apatow already loaded up This is 402 s soundtrack with quality tunes, and now he's sharing a few deleted scenes shot with quality musicians. Here's one featuring Eels' Mark Oliver Everett, who sings “What I Have To Offer” before delivering some bad news to Paul Rudd's record executive character. And here's one with Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong that's also pretty funny - even if you don't like Green Day.
Filed under: Concerts and Tours , News Christopher Polk, Getty Despite a shaky few months of cancelled and postponed shows, on-stage meltdowns and stints in rehab, Green Day have ended the year on a promising high note: the band will return to the stage for the first time since September at the end of March. Long time readers of this blog will not be surprised by my inclusion of this classic Barry Manilow song. While, in general, my musical tastes are a little harder than Barry's more middle of the road sound I give him a lot of credit for his songwriting and performance skills. If you aren't familiar with this one, it is really worth a listen! Our 2012 end of the year music review continues with the Best Album Concept award which goes to Green Day for their release of Uno!, Dos!, and Tre!. While each of [...]

Sounding like Spongebob, the BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG had a cameo in This Is 40, which made its way to the cutting room floor. But now, by the powers of YouTube, you can view the scenes .. And when you're done perving on the GREEN DAY frontman, take a zoink sip of his top, off ..

I dragged my feet on getting the countdown out this year. The contributions so far have been fairly slim. I know you all listen to music. I know you all have your favorites. So let's hear them. It's the day before Christmas and I've sat down to spend the next 48 hours watching screeners. If you guys are good and get your lists in, I'll loan them to you. You know you want to watch

I have been a Green Day fan since I discovered Dookie in 1994 and the songs Welcome To Paradise and Basket Case. Since then, before the band discovered the concept of prog-punk, only Nimrod is consistently impressive. From here, something strange happened. Green Day made the album Cigarettes and Valentines which was never released. It was supposed to be the antidote to the disappointing Warning but never saw the light of day - someone stole the master album from the studio. So they decided to start again, with new ideas and a new philosophy. The band describe this as a [...]
Esemplificativo l'insuccesso dell'ultimo disco, Tre! [...]
