Gross Magic , Howler and The Cast Of Cheers have been confirmed for the NME Generation Next tour this coming October. Kicking off in Bournemouth, the three bands will embark on a 11-leg live stint, appearing in Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield and Brighton, among other UK cities. Some music constantly feels like it is about to tumble down and fall apart throughout each song. GROSS MAGIC Teen Jamz EP Fat Possum The press release on this says it sounds like "ELO, Smith Westerns, Future Grunge …" but that's just because they're too chicken-shit to say it sounds like Mudd or Chicory Tip. Of course, it's not that simple, as the singing, plot twists, arrangements and wistfulness of this wonderfully inventive five-song revelation prove that Sam McGarrigle, the one-man band behind the project, could go in any direction he wants.
