The National are on a high this year releasing songs for various soundtracks. First they release a song called Think You Can Wait from the soundtrack to Win Win . Finally got around in checking out this EP. Since the EP won't drop until April 26th Got to see Toronto's Greys play at a "day" show on April 2nd at the Rainbow Bistro. They are a four-piece with two ex-members of Arietta. Listening to the whole five tracks, the music is very indie loud rock. From their Facebook site, it says "Indie Screamo Hip-Hop Electro". It was a busy Friday night in Ottawa. There was a ton of shows happening and I decided to hit up this show at Raw Sugar Cafe . It was the debut show for Ottawa's Silkken Laumann . No it's not the Canadian Olympic athlete. It's a band consist of Rolf Klausener (Yes from the Acorn ), Adam Saikaley and Pat Johnson.
