I have been so impressed with the Aston Shuffle's output recently - their production has progressively grown from stumbling ba-donk-a-donk bangers (ala their classic remix of Killer Applikation) to sultry pop-house with that bang0rised crunch they lovingly infuse throughout their original tracks. Your Love, the first track from their upcoming debut album, was released on October 10th.. stream the whole, amazing jam in its entirety below: THE ASTON SHUFFLE - YOUR LOVE (CLUB VERSION) by TheAstonShuffle O'er there on Soundcloud [...]

Human Life: 'Wherever We Are [Grum Remix]' [ mp3 ] After releasing their debut single, 'In It Together' , back in June, LA-based trio Human Life return with the power-pop single 'Wherever We Are'. Backed up with a b-side 'Italo Crimewave', the single also comes with remixes from Grum, Lovers & Gamblers, Minitel Rose and Manare. The release comes out November 1st exclusively on Beatport.

we've vouched for Human Life before, not because of the importance of being human and alive (harrr) but more so the LA power disco vibes the trio pop-fit succor. they already have tons of hype via 'press comments' from NME, New York Post, The Fader, Mixmag and now us... 'Human Life are great!' (see what we did there). The 'Wherever We Are' ep is packed with memorable mixes from various producers such as Grum, Manare and Minitel Rose all adding their own secret herbs and spices. Grums Dub is the [...]

The Sunshine State - "Beautiful one day, aquatic the next". I apologise for I'm still in catch-up mode. Here's a few tracks I've probably been meaning to post for too long a while. Alex Winston - Choice Notes (Aspirins For My Children Remix) (mf) (iTunes) Clare Maguire - Ain't Nobody (Memory Tapes Remix) [...]

A few weeks back, we featured the Wombats ' fantastic new single, 'Tokyo (Vampires and Wolves)' as our Video of the Moment . And now we're thrilled to be able to be able to offer you two great remixes of the track. The first is by Leeds DJ Grum , and the second is by LA band Superhumanoids . Have a listen and download below! MP3: The Wombats - Tokyo (Vampires and Wolves) - Grum remix [...]

Muse plays Denver, take two! The English rockers made their much awaited performance in Denver after being canceled in April after a fluke snowstorm prevented their massive stage production setup from getting through I-70. The show was to have taken place at the 1st Bank Center, however, since then, the show moved to the much spacious, and not so distant Pepsi Center. The massive stage proved to be no strangers to Passion Pit. The Boston indie-darlings made their presence known quickly with a comprehensive take on "Manners" that had easily converted many in the crowd from [...]

Passion Pit - Sleepyhead (Grum Remix)

The artist on focus today is Grum. He is known for his brialliant remixes and for releasing a very good album this (sadly) past summer. Lately he has been releasing quite a nice bunch of remixes and a couple of them have cought my eye. The first one is of Passoin Pit's Sleepyhead. I must admit that Passion Pit don't appeal to my ears. In fact, i couldn't even listen to their album in its entirety. This remix has a quite weird sounding beginning, [...]

Happyboxx is a the name of a new project by Russian D'n'B producer Subwave who has recently released his first EP on Mako Records titled Destroy It . It's a four track EP with an overall sound that wouldn't be considered the norm on Proxy's label as it's mostly Techno. However that doesn't mean it is a bad EP, some like myself would actually say it's quite the opposite of bad it is in fact good . The title track Destroy It would be more suited for anyone who [...]

Graeme Shepherd aka Grum shouldn't need any introduction. But with a list of working credits that reads like a laundry list of everyone who is everyone in the dance community since the release of his last single, Can't Shake That Feeling , in April, introductions are not necessary. Returning with his own brand of sun-kissed 'cosmic-electro', Grum proves once again that he cares little about the critiques. Serving only to the good-times with a release of the brilliant but carefree single, Through The Night . Future disco donned out in [...]

![Remix Roundup Vol. 27 – 10.1.2010 / Joel and Scott present [Robyn, Memory Tapes, The Killers, and more!]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/2862882_lg.jpg)
It's Friday and you all know what that means.... We, Joel and Scott are back to fill your eardrums with some epic jams. As you know our cold lockers are packed to the gills with devastatingly heavy dubstep sounds. More than the same can easily be said about our non-dubstep chunes. In fact, we are getting harassed for disturbing the peace and toxic contamination of our surrounding environment by our local environmental officials. Oooops. Shout out to all the support we been receiving from Copenhagen to New York and around the world. We love hearing from you guys. [...]
Well.. it's that time of the month again. And no, I don't mean that time when your girlfriend is prone to bawling so uncontrollably during a movie like The Fall "because the world just isn't fair to little girls" that you're forced to stop watching 20 minutes before the film ends. No no! This is truly a time more manic, though perhaps the feelings evoked are no more rational. I've been lurking all month, saving up for this, and I am happy to report that the blogosphere has some cool stuff for you. In general, though this series [...]

The brandon half of kunk has been on a running kick lately, and as an output of that, decided to saddle up and have a go at Budapest's annual half-marathon last month. To get pumped for the event, in addition to doing the standard carbo-sniffing and gatorade lathering, i threw together a lil' itunes playlist to accompany me for the jaunt. The mix proved to be potent as i managed to finish the whole damn sprint without keeling over. Afterwards i realized the playlist was chock full of our favorite artists and thus, necessarily, quite heavy on the faggy electro. [...]
