After a relatively slow January, some of my favorite producers to follow have ramped up their productions especially since Valentine's Day. Today, I would like to feature Vanguard with their stunning remix of Daft Punk's "High Life," as well as Le Crayon with an original 'Lucky Couple' and remix of Matt Mendez he released this past week. Accompanying them [...]
Do you remember when there was that one song that every DJ played this year? I'm sure some of you (really 80-85% of you) are going to think, "Yeah that was Levels by Avicii!" but I'm talking about the track that came right before Levels. Maybe some of you got it now; I'm thinking of the versatile banger, The End by the one and only Tommy Trash. Now, some people think that Tommy Trash overuses that synth that he created for The End .You may be right, but the reality is is that even if [...]

I hope that the holidays have treated everyone well. I haven't posted for some time and I haven't posted a mix for a longer time. I was moved to make a short 42 minute mixtape since the last time I posted. This mix is looking forward to the new year and what it brings. I couldn't think of a good name for this mix and I've been sitting on it for a couple days. Almost decided to name it after the first song because that just fit, but I finally decided on Trading Smiles Across The Night because [...]

Gypsy & The Cat 's " Jona Vark " has recieved the remix treatment from Van She, Shazam, Alan Braxe and Starsmith. Which is a pretty stellar bunch of producers to have remixing your song. However, when I caught the Dublin Aunts remix of the track a few months ago, not only did I think it matched the creative powers of the afformentioned, I kind of thought it was the best remix of the track. They've just made it available for free download action. I dare you not to smile when the chorus kicks in. [...]

I can't find much information on this guy. All I know at this point is that Plastic Plates is some dude from L.A. Though you don't need to know a whole lot about him because work speaks for himself. Truly eargasmic remixes. Perfect fit for the weekend! I look forward do your future work, Plastic Plates. While Australia isn't short on pumping out new electro-bands these days, Melbourne's Gypsy and the Cat seems to be offering us something a bit different. Golden Ages (not Aussie) just brought us back to '82 with Toto's "Africa" and I think Gypsy and the Cat was aiming to make the modern day version of "Africa" with their track "The Piper's Song"... Needless to say, I too want to sing the piper's song. The other track below "Jona Vark" sounds like two modern day bands to me... I think you can figure these out for [...]

I think everyone knows that these two boys are going to explode at some point. The exact trajectory and spread of the destruction is yet unclear, but they'll be everywhere soon enough. Start paying attention. They're in the UK mixing their album at the moment, but here's some remixes to tide you over... First up is MOPP adding a europhic high-nrg 90's rave flavour. Celestial choirs and System F trance plucks. Gypsy And The Cat - Time To Wander (Mopp Remix) Second up is from [...]
