It's difficult to describe the encapsulating power behind Ham1 . The Athens-based band's latest album, Let's Go On And On And On With Ham 1 , is perhaps most engrossing release in their half-decade career. Try to describe the sound of HAM1 and the name dropping begins. Think Johnny Dowd fronting the 13th Floor Elevators, with The Beatles ca 1966 and Velvets (in their White Light/White heat phase) references. A device that connects you to a massive world of sounds and thoughts. You never know what you'll pick up. That's my impression of Ham1 as well.
