It's taken more time than usual, but it's finally ready... Blogophilia 28 represents tracks compiled from April through mid May, and was rendered down while finishing work in U.S., and traveling to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. That stated, the only real excuse for its delay is that I was pretty busy. Look for 29 soon! This is a mix where nearly all of the artists are new to the Blogophilia series. Durham trio Hammer No More The Fingers are set to release their new album, Black Shark , tomorrow, April 5. To celebrate the release, the band will play three in-store shows at local record stores. The band will play at CD Alley in Chapel Hill at 3:00 pm, Bull City Records in Durham at 5:00 pm, and Schoolkids Records in Raleigh at 7:00. Sure, it looks like a nice attempt to spite the scalpers that snatched up all the tickets, but by picking a different venue and by still having the MSG show set as the band's final appearance, tickets will still get scalped for astronomical amounts.
