Melbourne's Hammocks and Honey are a two piece electronic duo, that's recently released their debut EP 'Spellbinder' on Special Awards as a limited 250 solid gold 12". I'm not to keen on the plethora of dreampop releases that's barging down the indie scene, mainly because most of the time all you get is hazy dreamscapes of washed out beats and indiscernible reverb drenched lyrics. Hammocks' priority is more on the pop side - at least on the song featured here - with happy-go-lucky twee melodies; while the dreamy side is taken care of by vocalist Prudence [...]

2010: it was pretty great! I saw Inception like three times and listened to all the best music I've ever heard. Plus, Rose Quartz went to New York (SEE ABOVE) and hung out with all our new best friends.
