Handbook ( Jake Brown ), all the way from York (the old one not the New one) messes with vintage disco, Motown, soul and hip hop hooks, relentless stuttering cut-off and loops, and just the right beats. Handbook- Spirits Handbook is a talented beatmaker who hails from York. We haven’t come across many artists from the UK who make instrumental hip hop, but this one is a worthy exception. His newest track, titled ‘Spirits’, sounds like it came from another era but apparently contains lot of his own instrumentals. If you check out some of his other work it’s easily noticeable that he also has a talent for sampling. This kid really knows what he’s doing and we hope you can jam to it with us.
