I was going to put Wild Flag's excellent album here, but Trip already got that one, so I'll offer up a left-field choice. I don't know much about Have Gun Will Travel, but Mergers & Acquisitions is a near-perfect mix of rustic and tuneful that will transport you to the halcyon days of early alt.country. Have Gun Will Travel are one of my favorite local bands. They are Americana geniuses, and their live show is a party that cannot be missed. Their newest album, Mergers and Acquisitions (out now on Suburban Home) has been in constant rotation on my iPod for weeks now. Originally, the podcast and Ninebullets Radio were supposed to (mostly) feature different songs.
