Pyyramids are the new duo of OK Go's Timothy Nordwind and vocalist, songwriter Drea Smith from electro-pop crew He Say She Say and Lupe Fiasco. Pyyriamids debut 10inch a six-song ep Human Beings , blends their love of The Smiths and Joy Division with some dandy disco/new wave action. "That Ain't Right" is sweet little burner. He Say, She Say was one of those groups featured on SXO that were poised to make some major noise...and then things went quiet. The group decided to part ways but as a consolation prize they also chose to release some new material off the 2nd studio album they were working on. The first leak is "Without Me" produced by none other that Million $ Mano. Download: He Say, She Say - "Without Me" (Produced by Million $ Mano) / Limelinx

When I found out from Drea, formerly of He Say, She Say that the group was disbanding, my heart was heavy. Both Drea and Million $ Mano created a slew of genre-bending freshness whilst under Lupe Fiasco's FNF imprint, but in the words of Sir Michael Rocks, something happened and the deal just went sour. So Mano's taken the liberty of dropping some of the unreleased material for the ladies & gents. It still saddens me that the group is no more, but at least you [...]

Although He Say, She Say ( Million $ Mano + Drea) have split their duo...They decided to release songs from their 2nd Studio Album they were working on. Here is the first leak courtesy of Timbuck2 , as premiered on his Go-ILL Radio Show on WGCI. He Say, She Say - Without Me (Prod. M$M)

By now you're already fully aware of the tragedy that took place in Haiti this month and the devastation it has caused its people. If you're in or around Chicago on January 31st support the The Every Drop Counts Chicago Benefit Concert and its cause. And yet another post of dope ass music from a group that I didn't know existed. Long story short, Drea Smith meets Million Dollar Mano and He Say, She Say is born. No need to give you more than that since the music speaks for itself. Chi Town stand up! I don't know about you, but I had a fucking amazing time in high school. We released terrible rap albums, evaded the cops (mostly), and engaged in all-American debauchery in the heart of a troubled Milwaukee neighborhood. But the luckiest thing, I believe, will turn out to be introducing myself to Andrea Smith during the summer high school prep program. A few years later, she and a few of my buddies at Sucka Productions - the collective company under which we still produce all of our creative work - got together and [...]

Okay...so, I'm sorry...the past couple of weeks have been hectic, but I got a good night's sleep and a Red Bull. I am now motivated for the next couple hours. Before I start I want to explain the above picture. I know I never do because I enjoy the mystery, but this one is special. The other day a couple friends and I went over to the Colorado Street Bridge (Suicide Bridge) in Pasadena. And

Wrapping up our 2008 CMJ coverage (thank god), we bring you these photographs from Saturday's Mean Red/Famous Friends party and some shots of fluo kid Pharrell who was in town for the weekend. After a week of events (technically, we only went to a handful of shit but only you are counting), we feel like a truck hit us and then backed up over our twitching body. Anyways, we were totally stoked for Mickey Factz , He Say, She Say (who were amazing), The Hood Internet and what the hell kind [...]

He Say, She Say - " Crash Dummie " He Say, She Say - " Modesty Is Key " Thanks to V , I came across a couple of tracks from Million $ Mano backed band He Say, She Say , right as I was peepin' the new fall collection from Hellz Bellz , which as usual, is effin' fantastic. Peep a couple more looks of the new HB drop after the jump, and keep a look out for He Say, She Say, as they are apparently the latest signees to [...]

We get a lot of mixes submitted to us here at CreamTeam. My informal system of choice for review is on the track, at the gym. If you can keep me running for 45 mins and pumped up, then I consider your mix a resounding success. I keep all the mixes I especially like filed on my iPod for future use. Of all the mixes I've saved, one of my favorites is definitely Willy Joy's Fly By Night Mix —and almost entirely for one single track. When it comes to mixes, I have a [...]

Ding, ding, ding: I-DAY! Hu? Whats that?! INFORMATION DAY!!!! He Say, She Say is an indie rock duo hailing from Chicago. Having opened a string of dates for Lupe Fiasco's and even Kanye West at Madison Square Garden. Pharrell (N.E.R.D.) is a a noteworthy fan. Million $ Mano (who is 1/2 of He Say, She Say) is a well known DJ/Producer, who was also M.I.A.'s DJ. Along with The Cool Kids, Flosstradamus, and Hollywood Holt he helped aid the new wave of artists currently breaking out of Chicago. [...]

Someone call the Late Police. I clearly violated the law of staying up on new shit. After claiming to be a huge fan of Million $ Mano and the rest of the new artists flooding out of Chicago in the past two years, I totally missed the group He Say She Say . He Say She Say consists of the aforementioned DJ/producer Million $ Mano and songwriter/performer/singer Drea . They have already opened up for Lupe Fiasco and Kanye West so it's pretty safe to say that if the Late Police ever catch me, [...]
If Pharrell likes it, you should too... right? If you're a sucker for blip pop like I, download this. It's Going to be huge: He Say, She Say - Crash Dummie

When I was up in Chicago I was lucky enough to catch duo He Say, She Say perform right after my set @ Evil Olive. They put on a great show! They managed to get everyone in the crowd into their set. He was spinning/playing gear while she rapped to the tracks on top of a small speaker (check pic above). She couldn't dance up there, so she told the crowd 'I can't dance much up here, so you better dance for me!' Anyways a few [...]
