I Need A Dollar is a great slice of soulful pop. And with such an insatiable hook it's surprising there haven't been a few more better remixes. Oliver $ put together a fun, sped-up mix, but was a rushed bootleg affair. Tensnake went for a more restrained approach. Originally debuted as a b-side to their The xx cover of "Shelter," the string-accompanied single "Painted Eyes" has officially been released as a precursor to Hercules & Love Affair's Blue Songs due on August 16.
