There are just too many reasons to be endeared to Hermas Zopoula. First, and I think most surprising, he's from Burkina Faso and is the the youngest of 36 children. Yup, the baby in a family larger than some towns in North Dakota. He's also, as the Asthmatic Kitty page tells me, a volunteer with orphans, an internet cafe entrepeneur and a huge fan of Bob Dylan. Hermas Zopoula - "Alpha et Omega" Another track from what's looking to be an amazing collection of West African singer Hermas Zopoula 's material. On May 19th Asthmatic Kitty will be introducing Hermas Zopoula to the world with his debut release, Espoir / Live in Ouagadougou .
