![NO CONCLUSION Mixtape #13: "[plants]"](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3926899_lg.jpg)

Sidste uge annoncerede den (meget house-funderede) hjemmeside Little White Earbuds sin liste over de fem kunstnere, der har 'defineret' dette år. Her finder man blandt andet Andy Stott, som især med LP'en Passed Me By må siges at have nydt et succesfuldt år. Nu runder han 2011 af med et dystert og sindsoprivende fænomenalt remix af UK garage-kunstneren Holy Other . Holy Other - Know Where (Andy Stott Remix) by TriAngleRecords
The Haxan Cloak and Andy Stott remix two tracks from fellow experimentalist Holy Other. Grab these remixes at Bleep .
Holy This Will Destroy You Black Dunes + Holy Other Edit This Will Destroy You just released a gorgeous 7″ vinyl single of their track ‘Black Dunes’ from the album Tunnel Blanket via Monotreme Records (Europe) and Suicide Squeeze Records (rest of the world). The A-side is a new edit of the album track. The B-side is the ‘Woman In The Dunes’ remix of the track by Berlin/Manchester-based [...]
Probably one of the bigger misconceptions about Holy Other is that he makes dark music. On the surface, that is what it is, but peel back a layer or two and it feels thick and ... read more
We've featured Holy Other enough that I hope you are already fans but if you arent; maybe this video will help do some promotions for this upcoming Berlin based dark synth producer. And, I say Berlin but don't think that is 100% fact just because this artist is completely wrapped in mystery, like a lot of acts nowadays. This video is a live version of his track "Touch", filmed at Rewire, in the Netherlands. You can find this track on his With U EP released earlier this year. Enjoy and try not to freak out. [...]

Holy Other Touch Live From Rewire Festival The video of Holy Other’s live set should have tied with Teebs for the #1 spot on my video count down this week, but I’ma special kid and forgot about it. Silly. I have yet to see Holy Other live (they cancelled their LA show earlier this year), and if they don’t play SXSW this year, I will have to fly to the UK to see them. I can’t wait any longer. [...]

A few weeks back when i heard about the Rewire Festival and knew that the French Born Belgium based composers Sylvain Chauveau was going to be present i knew i had to go, im such a big fan of his piano based works and was with so much expectations on the start of the evening. Unfortunately there was no piano and was more a experimental drone with field recording micro sounds with some vocals, quite electro-acoustic orientated, the room and so still and so dark that had this filling that we were in some sort of sci-fi suspense [...]
Click image to download full album Sounds like: Animal Collective, Queen "Wise Blood - Loud Mouths" What's so good? I'm very possibly coming late on the Wise Blood scene, but I'm content with being there at all. Following music so closely is exciting, but many times new artists sounds like shades of musician past, notes blurring together. Wise Blood is the most exciting kind [...]

This Will Destroy You - Black Dunes ( Holy Other ’s Woman In The Dunes Mix)
Maybe Holy Other felt that his remix of This Will Destroy You’s "Black Dunes" was so divorced from the original, that he needed to semi-retitle it. Or maybe he just went on a Hiroshi Teshigahara ... read more
It's the return of Remixtape , the feature where I listen to a tremendous amount of shitty blog-bait "X Remixes Y" tracks and weed out those worth your weed-out. (Right?) Volume 6 opens with this month's undisputed champion of tracks bearing Remix in their title: the indomitable "Huzzah!" featuring a fierce set of relatively underground rappers (El-P, Despot, Danny Brown, some band Das Racist), from Tom's inaugural Mixtape Of The Week by Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire . Also involved: Remixtape vets Holy Other, Star Slinger, How To Dress Well, and also Balam Acab casting syrupy spells on '90s R&B [...]

Kompakt duo, Walls ( Allez Allez and Banjo or Freakout ), released their second album, Coracle , yesterday. Their mystifying single, 'Sunporch', has been posted in my iTunes library for far too long now and I thought it would be a perfect time to shed some light on it. The albums most upbeat tune, uplifts and soars over a healing house pumper that swoons in and out of a cerebral vortex of a sound. Its so beautiful. Purchase the single over here and their new astounding album over [...]
Click image to download full album Sounds like: Washed Out, Holy Other, The Weeknd "Active Child (Feat. How To Dress Well) - Playing House" What's so good? Active Child recently premiered his video for "Playing House" on Pitchfork , and to be honest, I wasn't a big fan of the video. It was directed by Isaac Ravishankara, who worked on videos for Freelance Whales' [...]
Last year, right around the time summer turned to fall, we at Stereogum published our list of the 40 best new bands of the year . The idea of a "new" band is a pretty nebulous one, since many of the kids we listed were probably planning out their musical ventures in their basements since they were 11, but these were all artists who started to make a dent in our collective consciousness last year. This year, we've got another crop of 40 new artists who deserve your attention. So here we go again. A few clarifications [...]
