(Photo courtesy Mr. Skips) For the love of God, Allah, Buddha and/or the Great and Sacred Flying Spaghetti Monster, if you are eligible to vote, do it in favor of Barack Obama and do it tomorrow . Do NOT fuck this up, people. DC is the only place in the world where the person getting their hairs cut next to you is Donna Brazile . She's a brilliant lady who knows her shit, and her ease in discussing what's happening in the Obama camp is telling compared to the doom [...]

After a long period of resistance, T-Sides has decided to make itself more of a presence on the Internet. And what has my time in online marketing taught me about making an Internet presence? That not being on a social network is akin to not existing at all. And so, with no further adieu, T-Sides introduces: Our MySpace profile and our Facebook group . Through these outlets, we hope to attract new readers, as well as provide current readers with another way to discuss artists covered on T-Sides, discover new artists, and [...]

Nicholas from Connecticut! Alex from Florida! Bill from San Diego! You are all upstanding citizens, and your greatness cannot be measured by mere complex mathematics. Surely you will all go to heaven when you die, where you will be fellated by beautiful women for all eternity. If you have not already, please donate, dear readers. If you have donated, there's no need to donate again. Let the other readers pick up the slack. If you're wondering why I am holding a fundraiser, it is because my roommates are moving out and taking their turntable with them, and I don't have [...]
Last time we had the pleasure of watching a performance from Hope was at the Talent One Media Film Festival and days before that at the Hotel Cafe with our friend Brendan James! Hope has a beautiful attention grabbing voice, and it's even better live. She also has several tracks with very minimal instrument useage; just her voice. She's got some really acoustic emotionally love tracks. Hope is a singer-songwriter from right here in Los Angeles and she's got her self-titled debut Hope out for a couple years now so be anticipating for a [...]

Regular readers may remember about a month of whinging and hand wringing about my lack of employment, demoralization and general shittiness. Funny, that. Just a week or so after taking on one job I've now been offered, and am likely to accept, a second. The writing gig is only part time, so I've been looking around for little bits to fill in the gap. Well, the little bits turned out to be fairly big bits when I got a phone call today offering me a full-time teaching position at one of Adelaide's universities. So, in a couple of weeks I've [...]
Hey online friends, "what's up"? Me? I guess I'm doing fine. I have a gnawing pain in my stomach experts or scientists would probably define as hunger, and I have a lot of little errands to run today before work, but other than that I can't complain. I guess you're all hear because you're waiting for me to talk about the Mets, right? You want to know how it feels to be obsessed with a sports team at a time when that team literally could not be performing at a lower level. [...]

Here is a gift for the 7th day of Christmas....My first (and hopefully annual, and preferably earlier in the season) My Space Holiday Collection Vol. 1. As you may know, I have compiled several My Space tracks. Some of them may be on EPs, CDs, LPs, or online only. As far as I know, these are all online only...I don't recall seeing record names on a lot of these when I found them. You may download the tracks individually or they are zipped for your convenience, along with CD artwork in case you want to [...]

Once again I present a new mix, as promised. This mix had a more interesting process of concoction than the last. At first it was simply a mix of songs I had either acquired recently or had decided I wanted to spread around to my friends but as it formed I noticed a pattern. The songs either bubbled over with hope or were as hopeless as can be about our generation. The most important track, the one that made me come to the realization, is "Nobody Would Riot for Less" by Bright Eyes, but more on that one [...]
Well, we are off today to get the annual Christmas photo....I will try to post it as soon as we get it. But needless to say, the ' Merry Christmas ' season is upon us and it is a great lift after a lousy congress turnaround. We will not be in the same position next year to share gifts if the Dems get their ways! Merry Christmas , America. t00-m0ch, Chris christophercarder.com song: tags: Christmas Merry Christmas Democrats [...]
