Dennis Hopper dies at the age of 74 It has been confirmed that the actor Dennis Hopper has died at the age of 74. The cause of death is reported as being from complications with prostate cancer. Hopper directed and starred in the acclaimed film Easy Rider back, and he is known for his roles in films such as Blue Velvet, Apocalypse Now and Speed. So sad.
