UPDATE:  A previous version of this story was entitled "Band Assaulted at Rocketown for Dedicating a Song to a Gay Friend." We've changed the title to better reflect the situation as we've gathered new information. Rocketown Fires Employee Over Stance On Marriage Equality

Yesterday, word began to leak out that an employee of Rocketown had been fired over his decision to wear a Hostage Calm band t-shirt supporting marriage equality. In less than 24 hours, the story hit Twitter, Reddit, and found some space over on the The Tennesseean blog .
