I think I may have just about reached the stage where I have found the limit - that exact point where too much of a good thing resides. Hot Club de Paris sit very definitely in a little cluster of indie bands who purvey a particularly spasmodic, jerky, hyperactive brand of guitar pop. There's a good post on Come Pick Me Up about a British 3-piece called Hot Club de Paris, who I happened to see at Bestival this year on one of those little new band sideshow thingies. They were brilliant - spiky, jerky, energetic and with a canny knack for a melody.
