Vicar St. is the venue on February 6 and 7 for two gigs that will benefit injured Palestinian children in Gaza, of which the United Nations say there are tens of thousands. I adore The Devlins. The Devlins should have been massive. On Tuesday I seen Colin Devlin live in the un-christmasy Whelans upstairs room. Colin was excellent and the debut album A Democracy Of One is full of wonderful tunes. He was joined onstage by his brother Peter and Fiachna O'Braonain from the bands Hothouse Flowers and Prenup. The three played most of Colin's debut as well as Waiting, Drift, World Outside and There Will Be A Light from the The Devlins.
