"Everybody loves you" Borne from Razorlight (who I think is still going, right?), comes the brilliant new pop group I Am Arrows. Andy Burrows, former Razorlight drummer (like that tells you much), put this group together and this is their single, an electro-tinged, acoustic-oriented pop song. I know that description probably sounds a bit convoluted, but the song's a difficult thing to classify. What it does have, though, is a great hook and strummy, sun-drenched feel to it. I wrote a post a ways back about expectations and reality. It was something relatively depressing, along the lines of "Don't get your hopes too high or you'll trip and fall down a well." I'm here now to revise that post, because I Am Arrows' summer-pop jam "Nun" is just too breezy a track not to convince me otherwise. It seems as though former Razorlight drummer turned solo-artist Andy Burrows fell in love, moved in with his amour, and it worked out so laughably poorly that it was impossible not to write a feel-good windows-down track about it.
