NYC's Cousin Cole has put together a stuttering, percussive remix of Adele. It has all the ratatat rhythmic swagger of a UK funky production, but a little more stripped to give the centerpiece - those stunning, yearning vocals - room to breathe. Once again, the irrepressible Charlie Murfet, aka Our Friend, has made us a brilliant mix for the podcast series. It's a brilliant 25 minutes that, believe me, you will happily part with. Get into it. UK Funky is bringing proper energy to the world. This blend of numerous musical influences manages to fuse a number of my favourite genres. This is oing to blow up. It takes cues from Garage and Soca fusing it with accessible musicality that has more commercial appeal than the majority of the music I have posted on this website.
