Indian Trails was formed in early 2011, when Nico and Antti thought they wanted to try and do something musically lighter after five years of mostly hard-rock band experiments. In early summer of 2011 Jouni Mathias was found via internet and after first practice he joined the group and the band was officially born. • Indian Trails - Anchor

Finnish band, Indian Trails was formed in early 2011, after 5 years of musical experiments by Nico Henry and Antti Mikael. The project started as a "Let's do little bit more laid-back music, with dancey vibe." It worked out very well, and the present form of Indian Trails formed about 2months ago. With additional members joining over the last couple of months the band finally felt complete. Now ready to record and with songs in tow, the band plans on heading to the studio to record their debut EP in April. [...]

Whoah…just got word that “Light Cuts Shapes Sharp” is the first track ever released from the Finnish folk in Indian Trails . Sounds like a dance-y, more upbeat Frightened Rabbit . We can’t find any other info on them, so while we hunt them down, enjoy the track in the meantime. To say that these guys offer promise would be an understatement.
