Words: Saam Das I was rather pleasantly surprised when indie-pop trio Internet Forever 's debut album emerged last year, which I described as a "deliriously giddy ride" . I can imagine the band bring a similar vibe to their live show, which is handy, as they've just announced a new tour. To celebrate, they're also giving away 'White Light Collision Course' from the album. 'White Light Collision Course' is one of the more experimental [...]

Her Parents From: John Peels Dreams, United Kingdom With their wit, humour and the odd dash of vitriol noisy art punks Her Parents are the sort of band that would have been a permanent feature in John Peel's Festive Fifty. These refugees from Dananananaykroyd , Stairs to Korea and Internet Forever administer short, sharp, shocks to the [...]

Words: Alison Potter, Emily Solan, Howard Gorman, Rajan Lakhani, Raman K, Saam Das, and Simon Opie 2012. The year that guitar music died. The year that hip hop died. The year that dubstep died. No. None of these things happened. 2012 was as healthy a year for music as any. At FADED GLAMOUR , we picked some of our favourite albums of 2012 and put them together in a list of 25 below. Pop, R&B, hip hop and yes, even guitar music [...]

Internet Forever - 'Internet Forever' (UK Release: 26 March '12) // Words: Saam Das Back in 2008, London/Cambridge three-piece Internet Forever formed. Via the internet, obviously. A couple of minor lo-fi indie-pop hits followed but it's only now that their debut record has come out. Gone is the lo-fi aesthetic and instead the songs are bigger, bolder and simply put - better. The resulting album is one of the year's most unique efforts, somehow managing to sound futuristic and twee simultaneously. [...]

We haven't had more than seven days that've dropped below freezing, but it is still technically winter. I keep hoping we'll get one snowstorm before it's over. Maybe. Here for you, there's two bands from Finland, four from Australia, Dreams and Dreems, Cats and Cates, guitars and synths. One Dinowalrus. I think this will be the last Wintry Mix of 2012. But look for Spring Fever in April. DOWNLOAD WINTRY MIX 2.22.2012 Tracklist: 1. Eux Autres - Right [...]

Solar Systems is the perfect combination of London producer Dreamtrak and Laura from indie pop band Internet Forever. Their brand new song “Throw Your Hands Up” is a straight electronic thumper, and will be the catchiest thing you will hear this week, easily. This is just pop perfection, that should please anyone and everyone across all walks of life. Great message here, as well. I mean while everyone is so pessimistic about the oncoming days, why we can’t we just take these guys advice and “throw your hands up toward the future”.
With Internet Forever’s self-titled debut LP out next week, the band's Laura Wolf and their sometimes-producer Dreamtrak have finely multitasked a new track from their growing side project, Solar Systems. With its convincingly retro piano ... read more

Words: Saam Das In 2008, I wrote about an act called 'Heartbeeps' , comprising of one Craig Nunn . Craig went onto form lo-fi trio Internet Forever with Laura Wolf and Christopher Alcock , whose music I haven't been particularly fond of. Yet they've unveiled a selection of new songs with new production and I'm much more onboard. Listen to the tracks below, with 'Break Bones' proving to be the standout. [...]
Internet Forever are a quirky British three piece hailing from London (and a little bit from Cambridge). In band related webpages, they only reveal their online names, which is fitting as the two founding members met in an internet chatroom discussing how all of our identities will remain "on the internet forever". Their online names...
Craig Nunn, British photographer, musician and likable guy who goes by Heartbeeps (and also plays in another favorite of ours, Internet Forever) has unveiled a free EP on Bandcamp called Canton as a gift to friends, fans and family for the new year. You can pay what you want for it, so it's free if [...]

I bought way too many seven inch singles this year. I’m not trying to brag. It’s a problem really. The seven inch is like crack to the record geek, a fleeting moment of pop perfection and then it’s off to either flip the record or put on another one. This was a daunting task this year and I feel like I left out a lot of stuff, but a top 60 would have been too much and limiting it to 40 makes you have to really decide, what were your favorite [...]

We're pretty happy about having booked Digitalfoxglove for two gigs in Uppsala and Stockholm this weekend. And speaking of getting music tips from DJ and artist friends (like the recent StardonE post), Digitalfoxglove played a track I immediately loved during one of his live mixing sessions. The track was Dreamtrak 's remix of London dance punk band TEETH!!! 's "See Spaces", and it just has that naive early 90s feel to it, when house, techno and rave still barely had broken up into separate genres. After some mailing back and [...]

Hailing from Akron, Ohio Trouble Books are finally making it over to the UK for a small handful of shows following on from the quiet success of their recent album Gathered Tones . An incredibly rich and thoughtful listen, Trouble Books are no strangers to TLOBF - we praised their incredible 2008 album United Colours Of... , waxed lyrical about the follow-up EP Endless Pool and caught a glimpse inside the minds of the members with an in-depth interview . The small tour [...]
