Sliimy signs to Perez Hilton's record label Back when we introduced him we thought he was a French pop star with a some talent. Now, Sliimy broke that mold and is the first artist officially signed to Perezcious Records. If Perez is releasing his album Paint Your Face in the US, it won't work out. It's just not cut out for that market. It might fair well in some niche markets like the hispter demographic and the gay community, but that's about it. The songstress will release her second album Transmitter Failure this may 26th and will presumably embark on a heavy tour to promote it. Other than the fact that some of he songs on there are stone winners, the album cover is, arguably, the best yet of 2009.

Introducing… Erik Hassle As of now, Erik Hassle is the artist to watch for 2009. His debut album, Hassle , brings many great elements together, including pop, rock, alternative, soul and synth. His visual is also not bad at all. The singles "Hurtful," which was previuosly featured, and "Don't Bring Flowers After I'm Dead" are sure-fire chart successes and other gems on the album include "Wanna Be Loved" and "Back To Bed." The album's slated for a release soon worldwide and it's only available in Sweden now. Keep an eye out for Erik Hassle .
