Past editions of Brazil's Rock in Rio music festival have drawn upward of 1.5 million people, and this year's lineup should do little to curb enthusiasm. Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Metallica, Muse, Iron Maiden, and Bon Jovi will all perform headlining sets during the seven-date festival, set to run September 13-15th and 19-22nd in Rio de Janerio. The legendary British metal act has announced that they've teamed up with the folks at Robinsons Brewery to produce Trooper Premium British Beer . The 4/7% ABV brew, named after a song off their 1983 album Piece of Mind , features "malt flavours and citric notes from a unique blend of Bobec, Goldings and Cascade hops [that] dominate this deep golden ale with a subtle hint of lemon." Clive Burr , former drummer with heavy metal legends Iron Maiden, died in his sleep earlier this week on Tuesday March 12, 2013. He was 56 years old. Although he was fired from the band in 1982, Bur remained friends with his former bandmates, who were longtime supporters Clive Aid, the charity Burr was a patron of which raised funds and awareness for cancer and multiple sclerosis (of which Burr himself suffered) causes around the world. Clive Burr, who drummed on Iron Maiden's self titled, Killers, live EP Maiden Japan, and Number of the Beast has passed away as of March 13th, 2013, due to Multiple Sclerosis. Excellent news just in for those who enjoy a cheeky tipple now and again (who doesn't). Legendary metal stars Iron Maiden have launched their own brand of beer. The ale is named 'Trooper' after their famous 1983 single and will be made available in numerous pubs around Stockport. The percussionist died in his sleep at the age of 56 after a long struggle with the debilitating illness.
