Dinosaur Jr. have reissued their back catalog and made a tonne of fans very happy by touring full abum sets but J Mascis is now changing direction with a project alongside Built to Spill bassist, Brett Nelson. On Doug Martsch and Brett Nelson's inaugural release as the Electronic Anthology Project , the Built to Spill duo took on music by their own band, re-recording popular BTS tunes in an '80s electro-pop style. The result was both an oddly appealing experiment and entertaining way to deconstruct the guitar-driven work for which they're better known. Nerd culture collides again for Aggronautix's new bobblehead , facsimile of J. Mascis. There is some precedent for this. But they're thinking big this time. J is accurately sculpted right down to the big ole glasses, rockin' riff grip, and signature silver mane that features REAL DOLL HAIR - a first for Aggronautix!
