Jack White made a return to The Colbert Report to perform "Freedom At 213 off of his debut solo album, Blunderbuss , and knocked it out of the damn park. Check out the performance down below along with his interview with Stephen Colbert. The last time Jack White appeared on The Colbert Report , a week-long rock odyssey resulted in Stephen Colbert putting out his very own, White-produced 73 single through Third Man Records. On Thursday night, the two geniuses reunited, and while no music was recorded, a wacky interview led way to an enthralling performance of White's Blunderbuss single "Freedom At 213. The interview took place backstage after White questioned the need to talk about music. "That's ridiculous. It's like dancing about architecture or singing about paintings." Colbert responded by offering examples of questions [...]

White was in London promoting his debut solo album Blunderbuss (released on the 23/04/12) and although he had announced that he would be including music from all of his previous bands I don't think the fans could have comprehended how jam packed it was going to be, [...]

Among the rampant stream of news coming out of the Jack White camp over at Third Man Records, this latest is possibly the most intriguing: White is teaming up with Oscar nominee Gary Oldman . Oldman is set to direct White's upcoming performance at New York's Webster Hall, sponsored by VEVO, in support of Bluderbuss , the first solo album in the White catalog.
