Trae Tha Truth dropped the audio to this star-studded posse cut a few months back, and today we get the lengthy visuals to match. Somehow, Trae pulls all these heavyweight MCs in to film the video. Quite frankly, I didn't think that was going to be possible. But hey, it doesn't seem like he had much trouble snagging these crazy features to begin with. Next, he heads to Times Square for a celebrity flag football game to celebrate the launch of the new NFL jerseys. The teams were comprised of NFL players, including Mark Sanchez, Justin Tuck, Matt Ryan, and legend Ronnie Lott, plus rappers Ace Hood, Jadakiss, and Vado, as well as Hot 972s Angie Martinez. The Maybach Music Group's star's highly anticipated mixtape Dreamchasers 2 dropped this week and continued to have giant buzz throughout the week. The tape had a bunch of big name features, including Trey Songz and Big Sean in addition to Kendrick, and had a bunch of cookie-cutter MMG beats but some true hip-hop beats on it as well. More new Jadakiss for ya. Jada dropped by the Sway In The Morning show and performed a few tracks for their concert series. During the interview with Sway and his team, The Raspy One spits a few bars sans beat. Top 5 (dead or alive) is difficult to maintain, but he absolutely is in my top 10.
Jadakiss seems to be at top form these days. He jumps on the remix for the French Montana track "Everything's A Go", along with Birdman , Wale , and Fabolous . Hood track with a dope remix. Chicago rapper Kanye West cranks things up a notch on this new track, ‘I Don’t Like’. Featuring Pusha T, Jadakiss, Big Sean and Chief Keef, the track is park of West’s G.O.O.D Music project. For once Kanye raps through an aggressive track without “gggnnnnaarrrriiiiinnngg” at the end of every line, the Jadakiss verse is a bit of a disappointment but overall this is a stonking track, get listening below.
