The destination was Glasslands, a venue that I'd heard much about, but hadn't actually visited until now. Saturday afternoon’s Advanced Alternative Media (AAM) CMJ Celebration was too good a line-up to pass up (free food is always a plus too) so it was back to the Knitting Factory for a third time. Floridian duo Viernes engaged the early arrival crowd with their trance-enducing experimental loops and harmonies. My introduction to Woozy Viper, a duo from Brooklyn, was the virulent and easily repeatable "You Can't Find Me", the opening track on their second album "Rock & Roll".
