I'll be honest, James Curd hasn't always caught my attention with his hip-house style, though I recognize him as a seasoned and respected producer most closely associated with the DFA crew. His new track "Open Up Your Mind" is a step in a slightly different direction with a harder, more dance-floor friendly house beat.
