Canadian rockers Japandroids stopped by Conan last night, where they performed "The Nights of Wine and Roses" off their excellent Celebration Rock . The duo managed to bring the same intensity to the late night show that they have live, making for an impressively energetic rendition. Japandroids will hit the road this summer, making stops at Coachella, Sasquatch, Governors Ball, and Bonnaroo. Check out the performance above.

Last night, Japandroids, one of our finest rock bands currently working, brought their thunderous simplicity to the stage at Conan , blasting through the Celebration Rock opener "The Nights Of Wine And Roses." It's not substitute for being there, obviously, but I'm pretty impressed at how the band has managed to translate their live intensity, as undiminished as possible, to the late-night TV stage. Conan O'Brien even seemed to enjoy it a little bit, and he never seems to enjoy anything anymore. Watch it below. Read More... [...]

The bloody wonderful noisy duo known as Japandroids hit up the late night TV circuit last night with a visit to the studio of Conan . Performing with all the energy you'd expect from the two-piece they rocked out a version of "The Nights of Wine and Roses" from the still brilliant sounding Celebration Rock . If you missed the show last night or maybe you just wanna get your rock on with the Canadian band, check out the clip of them at the top.
Cock-rock minus the balls. Check out the JAPANDROIDS performance of THE NIGHTS OF WINE AND ROSES via last night's Conan O'Brien show.

Japandroids returned to the boob tube last night with an appearance on Conan , where they mercilessly beat into Celebration Rock cut, "The Nights of Wine and Roses". How do they maintain such craziness? Perhaps they're still reeling off the excitement of being nominated for top Alternative Album at this year's Juno Awards. Theorize below. If that's not enough, catch them on tour - or at every North American festival. If you're lucky, maybe you'll see them alongside The Gaslight Anthem or Cloud Nothings. [...]

A few scant months after the banking meltdown I found myself back in Los Angeles after eight years of wandering, living off of unemployment. BaddBob a behind the scenes [...]

Bonnaroo is a super-big music festival that happens out in the (where is it?) weather-y place that is most certainly Manchester, Tennessee. Big news, guys! Daniel Tosh is playing Bonnaroo this year! Also with him (that we're stoked on) are Wilco, Wu-Tang Clan, The National, Grizzly Bear, Tame Impala, and Jim James doing two different sets (as far as I can tell). Solid lineup though, you can pick your favorites if you want! Below we have a video of Daniel Tosh (?) talking about Bonnaroo then some crazy 3-D band names. Check it out. Buy tickets here . [...]

Peoples Temple of America aren't flashy. In fact, they may be the opposite of flashy. But it's that raw minimalism that's the most attractive about their music. The indie rock trio's steady, watery guitars are the perfect foil for Ben Leach's urgent punk rock delivery that will undoubtedly catch be attention of Japandroids and Titus Andronicus fans. "Outliers" is the first single from Peoples Temple of America's debut, "P.T.A.," which is due out today. Well, technically tonight at their Quencher's show. And though lyrically it's a bit mystical, the song is a fiery ball of [...]
