Rumors of a joint EP by Lil B and Jay Electronica began swirling last month after his set at the Paid Dues festival . Fans of the ever-elusive Jay Electronica have been listening to "Dimethyltryptamine" for what, four years now? Itcould be longer, honestly, but I became acquainted with the track thanks to the self-directed video Jay shot for the track in '07. But it turns out he shot another video for the track when spent some time in Nepal two years ago with Jason Goldwatch. Jay Electronica's fans -- I know there are plenty of y'all out there -- already know that the reclusive MC already made his own video for " Dimethyltryptamine " several years ago. But it would appear that he shot a second set of visuals for the track in the fall of 2009. It was then that he and director Jason Goldwatch filmed three videos, with the above video for "Dimethyltryptamine" being the only one seen thus far. Apparently Jay never approved its release, but the folks at Okayplayer just couldn't sit on [...]

Jay Electronica , the mystery, has just released a video for his track "Dimethyltryptamine". The title of the track refers to the chemical DMT which your body naturally produces when you dream. Jay Electronica admits he wrote this song after a crazy dream and after watching something on TV about the JFK assasination.
