Jay-Z was recently announced to be helping exectuvely produce the upcoming film The Great Gatsby . We got to preview Nero's cut "Into the Past" . Now we get the full version of Jay-Z's song "100$ Bill" which offer some amazing production with some unstoppable verses touching on range of controversial topics. Jay-Z recently spoke with BlackTreeTv about channeling his inner Jay Gatsby and being an executive producer on the flick of the summer (at least we hope so).  Jay mentions how the collaboration, if you will, came about, dating back to the making of WTT, where Leo was present for a studio sesh.  Which is awesome, and makes us love DiCaprio that much more, but we're a little puzzled at how Russel Crowe prevailed in the shout-out contest after that. In case you've been under a rock,  The Great Gatsby's  second film adaptation has caused quite the media frenzy, from a star-studded cast to an equally impressive soundtrack lineup. When  Jay-Z  signed on to be the soundtrack's executive producer, all expectations for the  Baz Luhrmann  and  Leonardo DiCaprio  flick were heightened (and the trailer alone was enough to really pique my interest in the first place). This Great Gatsby soundtrack is certainly shaping up to be one of the best film scores in awhile (movie is looking excellent too), as we have heard some solid material already. Now add in Jay-Z and the track "100$ Bill," which previously we only heard a snippet. However, today the full version of the song emerged and you can stream it in its entirety. At the very least, The Great Gatsby will have a phenomenal score. The man in charge of the film's music is Hova himself and he's bringing Hip-Hop and more to the American classic novel. "$100 Bill" is the first of the Gatsby tracks we've heard that features Hov on the mic. On initial listening, he sounds somewhat reinvigorated, weaving in references of Slick Rick and a certain yellow car that plays a symbolic role in the film. Along with being one of the most anticipated films this year, the soundtrack to Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby is just as anticipated. RH regular Hollywood Holt unknowingly produced the Andre 3stacks and Queen B's Amy Winehouse cover "Back To Black" that was featured in the film and trailer. With music heavy weights like Jay-z,  Jack White, The XX, Gotye and many more it's not surprise people have been waiting for it. We heard a 90-second preview of Jay-Z 's "100$ Bill" a few weeks ago, but now that the full soundtrack to  The Great Gatsby is streaming , we can dig into Jay's full contribution. Solo tracks from Hov have been rare these past few years; the few he has released in that time frame ( "Open Letter," "Glory" ) have felt rushed or inconsequential. But "100$ Bill," this is Jay-Z in Jay Gatsby mode, the rhymes furthering his  Watch the Throne interplay of boastful extravagance and political contempt. A looping [...]

At the moment there's no word on a title, collaborators, tracklists, or anything else of the sort, but after rumours surfaced of Kanye West releasing a new album in June after he made a tweet saying "June Eighteen", it's all but been made official. Now according to Rap Radar's Elliott Wilson,  Def Jam Records  (via Chris Atlas) have confirmed that it is in fact a new album that's coming out, and it will in fact be released on June 18th.
